Imagine!

Imagine being invited to an event.

Imagine being called up to the stage by the host of the event to be introduced to the crowd.

Imagine further that the host of the event then hands you the microphone and asks you to say a few words to the crowd.

Most people’s biggest fear.

Nothing prepared.

No notes.

Just asked to come up, handed a mic, and told, “Go!”

Imagine.

Imagine the confusion.

Imagine the fear.

Imagine the uncertainty.

Imagine the loneliness.

What would you say?

Where would you start?

Imagine then that you just start talking,

You don’t know what exactly to say, so you just speak from your heart,

No…maybe it’s from your soul,

But the words just come.

And they keep coming.

The words just flow like someone else is writing them for you,

Or speaking them to you.

Or maybe…speaking them through you!

Imagine now that the crowd is getting larger as you speak.

That you start to see some of your friends in the audience.

Captivated.

Mesmorized.

Listening.

Imagine that the crowd starts to murmur,

That they start to talk amongst themselves based on your thoughts and ideas,

And the love you’ve woven into your message.

Imagine then, that the crowd starts to smile, and then laugh,

Not at you, but out of sheer joy.

And you stand there on stage,

Elated,

Because you delivered the message.

You brought the smiles and laughter.

You shared the love and got it all started!

This is the dream that I had last night.  June 6th, 2022.  I woke up at 5:47 AM and got up to make sure to write it all down, because I knew it meant something.  D-Day, 2022.

Imagine someone inviting you to an event, handing you the microphone, and saying, “Go!”

Isn’t this what God has done countless times in history, when he calls men and women from all walks of life to do something different,

Something scary,

Something new?

Isn’t this what He did when he called on Moses?

Called on the prophets?

Called on his own Son?

“Go!”

“Do not be afraid.  I will be with you.”

“I will help you find the words.”

“Go!”

Imagine waking up from this exact dream, but it’s so powerful that you want to go back to sleep,

To continue the dream,

To see where it leads!

“Wait, I’m not done!”

And the voice inside you replies, “No…you’re not done!”

“You’re just getting started.”

Imagine!

Gotta Look Up!
